§ 9-4. Ballots.
(a)
The city council shall have ballots prepared in substantial conformity with the general laws of the state applicable to general elections and shall have printed thereon the names of all candidates from whom nominating petitions have been filed as herein provided, and no others; but at the bottom of the printed names of candidates for each office, there shall be left blank spaces in a number equivalent to the number of candidates that may be elected to such respective offices.
(b)
All candidates' names will be listed in alphabetical order and shall be printed on the ballot in the same form as appears on each candidate's oath.
(c)
Shortened versions or nicknames may be used if so indicated on the candidate's oath.
(d)
No title or evidence of incumbency shall be printed on the ballot.
(e)
There shall be no political party designated in accordance with section 3.02 of the Charter.
