§ 27-538. Exemptions.

  • The community development board may exempt, in whole or in part, any historical significant property from the provisions of this article, provided that the exemption is needed to allow a viable use of the structure and does not contribute to a severe parking shortage or to severe traffic congestion. If appropriate the community development board may require off-site parking within four hundred (400) feet of the premises. Any parking facilities provided shall meet the specific dimensional and design requirements contained in this section.
