§ 15-3. Exemptions.

  • (a)

    Peddling by any charitable, religious, fraternal, youth, civic, service or other such organization when the organization makes occasional sales or engages in fund-raising projects when such projects are performed exclusively by the members thereof and when the proceeds derived from such activities are used exclusively in the charitable, religious, fraternal, youth, civic and service activities of the organization, are exempt from the provisions of this chapter, except for the provisions of section 15-4.

    (b)

    Salesmen calling upon established commercial businesses located in the city are exempt from the provisions of this chapter.

    (c)

    The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to persons possessing permits issued by the state department of agriculture and consumer services extending the privilege of sale to such person who offers for sale any milk or products, as defined in F.S. Ch. 502.
