§ 9-8. Registration books.

(a)

The registration list or books for the registration of electors in the city shall close twenty-nine (29) days prior to the day of election.

(b)

Immediately upon the closing of the registration list or books, the same shall be delivered by the registration officer over to the city clerk who shall act as custodian thereof except when in use by the election officials.
