§ 2-483. Demotion; suspension; discharge; probation; selection.

(a)

No members of the career civil service shall be demoted, suspended or discharged except in accordance with the provision of this division, Resolution No. 1-7-90 or a collective bargaining agreement.

(b)

All new employees under the career civil service employed after August 3, 1992 shall be considered probationary for a period of six (6) months from the date of employment.
