§ 28-34. Failure to comply with order; unlawful; penalties.

A person who violates, procures or acquiesces in a violation of the provisions of this chapter, or a person who fails to comply with an order issued pursuant to this chapter by the building official or the code enforcement board, shall, upon conviction thereof, punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment of not more than sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment. A separate offense shall be deemed to have been committed for each fifteen (15) days a violation of this chapter continues.
