§ 27-333. Prohibited activities.

  • (a)

    It is unlawful for any owner, landlord, rental agent or other person to enter into any rental or lease agreement or arrangement, whether verbally or in writing, whereby occupation of any dwelling unit is given, furnished, granted, allowed or made available to persons where such occupancy is in violation of section 27-15. It is further unlawful for any owner, landlord, rental agent or other person to permit or allow the occupation of any dwelling unit where such occupancy is in violation of section 27-15.

    (b)

    This section shall not apply to motels, hotels and licensed bed and breakfast facilities.

    (c)

    Any violation of this section shall subject the owner to a citation for violation of this article and proceedings before the code enforcement board with all appropriate penalties and sanctions.
