§ 24-47. Notice to correct violation; corrective action; city costs.

The city shall notify, in writing, each owner of record of property within the city of a violation of section 24-46. If compliance is not reached within ten (10) days from the date of the notice, the city shall cut or cause to be cut the growth or brush below the height of ten (10) inches. The owner shall be responsible for the city's actual costs incurred in so acting. The city shall notify the owner of its actual costs within ten (10) days of having to take corrective action and shall demand that payment of said costs shall be made within thirty (30) days.
