§ 13-9. Severability and repeal.

(a)

If any provision or portion of a provision of this chapter is held to be unconstitutional, preempted by federal or state law, or otherwise invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of this chapter shall not be invalidated.

(b)

All previous noise ordinances, amendments or parts of ordinances regulating noise are hereby repealed and replaced by the ordinance codified herein. To that end, the following Code of Ordinance sections of chapter 13 of the City Code are repealed and replaced by this ordinance amendment:

Sections 13-2, 13-3, 13-4, 13-5, 13-6, 13-7, 13-8, 13-9 and 13-10.
